Crown Capital is a privately held commercial mortgage banking and real estate company established in 1966. Crown Capital is active in the acquisition, finance, development and management of commercial real property assets. Crown owns and manages in excess of $300 million in real estate and has originated and/or services approximately $1 billion in real estate loans. Commercial mortgage banking is a major part of our business. We originate construction, mini-perm, mezzanine and permanent loans using established relationships with investment banks, insurance companies, pension funds, commercial banks and private sources. Real estate equities are an equally important part of Crown Capital's business. We arrange the placement of equity capital from institutional, private and in-house investors. Crown Capital also acts as a principal in the direct acquisition of real property for our own account. Portfolio acquisitions focus primarily on multi-family. However, we may also acquire office, retail, industrial, mini storage and other property types. Our considerable financial strength and experience, combined with the efficient size of our firm, allow us to underwrite and act quickly when opportunities are presented. The principals of the firm are David W. Yancey and Michael H.Yancey. These gentlemen have a combined experience of over 50 years in the industry.
